Abstract

The initial idea to design Four Star City Hotel close to the center malioboro. Intended as one that is able to accommodate the needs of hotel guests and tourists who want to stay in a hotel malioboro because there is often full. Circulation vehicles also need to be considered, so that access to the hotel is easily reached. Transformation Design-The transformation process from the initial idea through some changes, because thinking about site conditions and environmental factors. Convenience getting enough light from the sun and wind for locals. In the final design phase of utilizing the potential views to the Merapi Mountain and adapt the layout design of the building with surrounding settlements. Final Design-The end result of the transformation process, providing hotel has facilities to support the needs of guests and tourists who want to stay near the area malioboro. Environmentally friendly and adaptive. Easy access, the hotel location is not too far from the center malioboro. It is within walking distance if you want to center malioboro. Conclusion-Starting from the idea of providing malioboro Hotel near the center, transforming ideas and design hotel is not easy because a lot of things to consider. The idea was first adapted to the environment and trying to stay within the rules. Expected to accommodate all guest activities and tourists who want to stay close to the center malioboro.
