Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the cash flow, free cash flow and the firm characteristic such as firm size to the prediction of financial distress empirical studies on private Food And Beverages, Textile Mill Product, Apparel And Others with foreign exchange from year observation period 2007-2010, and data obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory and annual report each company. Sampling of this study using a purposive sampling technique with a period observations in 2007-2010. The method used for this research is logistic regression. Based on the feasibility of the 26 Food And Beverages, Textile Mill Product, Apparel And Others selected for 2007-2010 using logistic regression, it can be concluded that the appropriate variable to analyze the variables above the prediction of financial distress in the Food And Beverages, Textile Mill Product, Apparel And Others sector. The results of this study indicate that ratio RETA can be used to predict the Food And Beverages, Textile Mill Product, Apparel And Others financial distress. CSDT to proxie cash flow, free cash flow and firm size no significant effect on financial distress.
