Abstract

According to Government Regulation No. 112 th 2007 Traditional markets are markets which built and managed by the government. Local government, private sector, state enterprises, and private enterprises including cooperation with the place of business in the form of stalls, shops, stand and tents which managed by small traders, medium traders, non governmental / cooperatives with small business, small capital and the buying and selling process merchandise through bargaining The special traditional is a place which specially reserved for the trade of certain goods / services. Example: traditional of fruit market, second-hand goods (flea), animals, etc. Social, economics, and the role relation of the Kliwon market for surrounding : Making jobs for surrounding residents and add to revenue Gathering place for traders from different regions so that the well of relation between the traders-buyers, traders-traders, buyers-buyers The existence of market can mutual support with the surrounding (shops and shophouses) Kliwon market (micro) ?Trade area and its function disorganized, be spread around and chaotic? Lack of parking areas capacity? The market was on fire and the building has not been function again? ventilation and natural lighting is not adequate WHY Kliwon market? (macro) -Kliwon market is one of the largest revenue contribution in the Kudus -As a barometer of the economy Kudus city-A market where selling of 75% convection and textiles -convection and textile wholesale center se-Karesidenan Pati and most largest market in Kudus-Buyers come from various regions both Java and outside Java-Distance between the markets other near relatively so that traditional Kliwon market become a special convection and textile market
