Abstract

During 1990s, HKBP PTI congregation tried to establish their church at Perumahan Pondok Timur Indah Bekasi, but surrounding community reject their present. In 2010 HKBP PTI experienced violence threat by community. One of Sintua and their Reverend became the victim. This thesis try to seek and discover HKBP PTI congregation understanding about ecclesiology which affected by Batak culture about land (huta) and king. Oneside, Batak culture would keep harmony and peace among one another in the community. But in the otherside it is harmony and peace only held in it is own community, exclusively. To analyze culture affect in ecclesiology, I would try using Peter Berger social theory and Miroslav Volf theory about ecclesiology.
