Abstract

Early ideas for the Simple Flats In Mlati, Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Region of Yogyakarta is one of the cities visited by many people, especially tourists, both foreign tourists and local tourists. in addition because the culture and traditions of hospitality, Yogyakarta also provide comfort for many of the migrants who come to this place. good that comes to finding a job or who come just for day trips only. therefore, I bring up the idea to create a simple flats for workers that exist around the area Mlati sub district that can accommodate people who do not have a place permanently. with the construction of these flats sederhana, can reduce the density of settlements around urban areas. thus the need for adequate housing can also be met. Transformation Design - With a modest apartment building, the need for housing will be met. This apartment consists of three floors, with one block alone. Support needs will also be constructed at appropriate locations where simple flats was built. support facilities will also be made like a playground, gym and other facilities such as ample parking for residents. in this location is also divided into several rooms, namely the use of public space and the space used in private. public spaces such as parks and sports fields while the private sphere as the unit - a unit of occupancy. Final Design - The concept of a simple apartment building, which will be built in the district Mlati sleman is environmentally friendly concept. building form also follows buildings around the site. for example, from the roof, follow the building around a lot using saddle-shaped roof. while the surrounding buildings will be made a lot of plants that can be utilized by the residents. making the park around the site is also very important to support the concept of eco-friendly. thus the construction of simple flats will be highly integrated with the surrounding circumstances. Conclusion - With the construction of these simple flats, the need for decent shelter and comfort for workers and communities that do not have permanent residence is fixed. This apartment can also accommodate the needs - other needs that have not been able to thank them for this. for example around the location of the apartment building was built too kiosk - kiosk that can meet the needs of the day - their day as residents of the apartment. therefore, the construction of these flats, will function well if managed properly, too.
