newly formed district in 1999 where there are many cultural relics were left behind, including the art that comes from Tanimbar island itself, where Tanimbar island has four parts, namely Yaru, Yamdena, Selaru, Seluwasa, and Makatian. From these tribes there are many cultural and traditional arts. Issues : There are a lot of historical and cultural relics in Tanimbar unfortunately not matched by good maintenance and management. This Tanimbar Island is an area in which the facility does not have a museum, and basically this island has a lot of stuff Tanimbar art, but art of the objects doesn?t have the proper container to be placed in a good spot, so just put in the homes and offices. And if when there is a cultural event, then the items appear to display art. So that it becomes easily susceptible to damage because of the frequent items to move where. Goal : Designing museum of art and culture as part of the effort to preserve objects of historical and cultural heritage communities Tanimbar. This museum expected to be a good container to hold relics to be enshrined. So it can be properly maintained and can be recognized by many people who want to know the culture of the
island Tanimbar.},
