abstract: With predicate as culture town, tourism town, and student town, Yogyakarta becomes one of town with number of highest tourists visits in Indonesia. the many object variants of tourism in Yogyakarta influences number of coming tourists, either domestic tourist and also foreign countries tourist. there is tourist coming with vacation, studies, and also for having business. that way, city hotel becomes precise choice to accommodate tourist which vacation in this town.
vacation is not meaning lodges, causing needs existence of supporter facility is earning as enthusiast of the tourists which just stops by and or which just looking for entertainment amusement. The facilities for example coffeeshop, restaurant and retail having direct access without through the lobby, so that there is no reluctance from the side of visitor. location in kotabaru which is area with strong image, because location of this site resides in conservation area, where at this area predominated by ommission buildings of Dutch colonial. besides, area kotabaru is green area seen from the many trees and town gardens, so that this kotabaru area becomes one of fascination of tourist in Yogyakarta. planning of city this hotel hardly influenced by situation of site. Visible at form of building adopting form and colonial building character, for example column coherence, apertures that is big enough and there are some with form of square as there is at other colonial buildings which there is in Yogyakarta. Besides, at pool area impressed wide with different floor pattern, also there is functioning vegetation as all decorator and coolant of green area response Kotabaru. So when seeing and or resides in this hotel, that indicates that here Kotabaru.
