description: Why animation-Animation is so interesting because it can help people open up their imagination, make people's imagination work again like we used to be. Imagination is important because without it people can't make or discover something new in every subjects in life. Some people even said that imagination is more important than knowledge.  The Animation Center was divided into 3 function: Marketing area, Animation course, and animation studio. Marketing area located in front of the site to receive client and visitor; Animation course is located in the north side to receive more sun light; and animation studio located in the middle of the site because it has less loudness from the other side.  • Marketing office located at the eastern side or at the front of the animation center complex. to receive client directly.  • From the main lobby, you can go directly to animation course or animation studio and cafetaria through the garden.  • Animation course located at the north side to catch the sunlight on April to August. Because it is a holiday seasons on December to January (Christmas and New Year) and the sun light is coming from south.  • Landscape in the western of the site is a buffer area, filter the loudness from the settlement, so loudness intensity in animation studio area is low.  • as a view to animator and people. Beside to separated it from people by massive wall, Animation Center in Yogyakarta designed to become a good neighbor by give open green space as its boundary.  • Cafetaria located between animation studio and course area, so everyone can access it easily.  • Cafetaria become the gathering area, meeting space for all the users and visitors.  • Production area or animation studio located in the middle of the site, because it has less loudness in the middle. So the animator can work well in this area.  • As you can see, the roof of this building uses three basic shape : circle, rectangular, and triangle.Like the concept of the animation : pictures which are changed.  • Theater area located between the animation studio and marketing area, so client and animator can access it easily.  Conclusion-Animation are very well known kind of film in Indonesia, but people often only know animation is come from another country like Japan, United State, and even Malaysia. In fact that we have also the human resource in animation that have big potential to grow and making our own animation film in Indonesia. With Animation Center in Yogyakarta, it can host animator to produce animation film in animation studio; it can develop animation human resources in animation course; And an office to sell the animation to public by demand.
